Constantine (Gus) Zachos, MD, DCAPM, DAAPM, ABAARM
President & Medical Director
Dr. Zachos graduated from University of Toronto Medical School in 1991 and has been practicing medicine for approximately 20 years. He is the President and Medical Director of BodyScience Medical, in addition, he acts as Medical Director of the Oak Ridge’s Medical and Urgent Care Centre and Director of the Barrie Chronic Pain Clinic. What began as a full time emergency medicine practice evolved to include special interests in anti-aging, and hormone imbalances.
Dr. Zachos is an expert in BHRT and interested in successfully managing individual’s hormone imbalances, which can lead to significant long-term health benefits. Managing the aging process from a hormone and nutritional perspective provides strong evidence in enabling a better quality of life.
Dr. Zachos is Board Certified with the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management, Diplomate of the Canadian Academy of Pain Management.

Leslie Beck, RD, National Director of Nutrition
As one of Canada’s leading nutritionists, Leslie has run a thriving private practice in the heart of downtown Toronto since 1989 helping thousands of individuals achieve their nutrition and health goals. Her integrative approach offers clients dietary advice, personalized meal plans and evidence-based recommendations on the use of nutritional supplements. As National Director of Nutrition at BodyScience Medical, Leslie oversees the development and delivery of all nutrition programs and continues to work one-on-one with private clients.
Leslie is recognized by the media as an authority on nutrition and food issues and is an experienced communicator in television, radio and print media. She writes a weekly column in The Globe and Mail, Canada’s national newspaper and is a regular contributor to CTV News. Leslie’s nutrition advice can also be heard weekly on Montreal’s CJAD Morning Radio.
Leslie is the best-selling author of 12 books on nutrition and health: The Plant-Based Power Diet (January 2013), Leslie Beck’s Healthy Kitchen, Leslie Beck’s Longevity Diet, The Complete A to Z Nutrition Encyclopedia Heart Healthy Foods for Life, Foods that Fight Disease, The No-Fail Diet, 10 Steps to Healthy Eating, Healthy Eating for Preteens and Teens, Leslie Beck’s Nutrition Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy, The Complete Nutrition Guide to Menopause, and The Complete Nutrition Guide for Women. Leslie consults with many leading businesses and international food companies and delivers nutrition seminars and workshops to corporate groups in North America. Having a strong interest in sports nutrition, Leslie acted as nutritionist to the Canadian International Marathon and the NBA’s Toronto Raptors Basketball Club. Leslie keeps fit herself by running, cycling, and weight training.
Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Leslie obtained her Bachelor of Science (Dietetics) from the University of British Columbia and proceeded to complete the dietetic internship program at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto. She studied a Masters in Epidemiology at the University of Toronto.
Eris Ligu, MPH, Patient Care Coordinator
For almost four years, Ms. Ligu was part of Medcan Health Management Clinic as team leader of the medical testing team, where she successfully coordinated staff training and patient management. During this time, she completed the RespTREC-Respiratory Training and Educator Course and was certified by the Lung Association. She is currently enrolled in the Occupational and Health Safety Program at Ryerson University.
In 2000, Eris graduated from Medical School at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “luliu Hatieganu” in Cluj, Romania. Before moving to Canada, she practiced in Romania and Albania.
Eris holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Tirana, Albania. She enjoys reading, cooking, biking and spending time with her family.
